Sorry there bud.DPMS has acknowledged they use loctite on the castle nut on the buffer tube going to the end plate to the receiver. Used heat, the proper wrench, just wondering if there is a chemical solution to the issue.

Get yourself some PB Blaster penetrating oil, then maybe a little heat it should come loose.

Good Lord,,you still fucking around with that thing stalker1? Frogetaboutit,,,use it as is and just get another lower and get it over with,,Hell a buck and a quarter will do a new one now days.

Your just going to do that much damage if you continue to try to disassemble the one you got. By the sounds of all shit you've tried, it's probably somewhat beat up by now anyways I'd expect. Hell don't bother it's just going to get fucked up if you keep messing with it,,use it as is and put together another one for what you originally wanted to do with this one !!! Not a biggie.

    just my .02 cents worth,,,,

I think your starting to go all "obsessive -compulsive " on us now !!!

Hell yeah brother. I got to send stalker one of those frigging huge pipe wrenches the plumbers use. Our skilled gunsmiths here at " the swamp no job too tuff school of smithing" would take care of that in a heartbeat.
Most of our smithing tools hell we just picked up at Lowe's, none of that fancy prancy Brownell's expensive stuff. Probably best to get the morning guys on any items sent to us. I got to have a sit down with the afternoon crew, their getting frigging sloshed out of their frigging minds.
