We need to Petition the Trump with prayer. Short barrel rifles or long barrel pistols should not be taboo.
TANVIL, my Anderson LPKs had the SS hammer and trigger. I did a little work on the contact points with metal polish.

Quote-the PSA uppers that have the FN barrels are the best deal you're going to find.
PSA launches affordable Freedom series AR rifles. ... (Photo credit: PSA/Facebook) ... The barrels have a 1-in-9 inch twist for use with a wide range of bullet weights.
    Palmetto Armory Suppliers Revealed

Well sort of..... There has been a lot of questions asked who exactly supplies/makes PSA's parts, so I'm listing what I believe is correct. A lot of comparison has been done with known parts markings, machine techniques, and designs. The bolt/carrier and hammer forged barrels have been confirmed by PSA. Although PSA is a parts assembler like almost all of the AR companies including the so called "Top Tiered" group. From the list you'll find high quality manufactures that PSA uses/may have used in the past.

Ammunition, AR15 Parts, Magazines, Bulk Ammo - Palmetto State Armory

Bolt/Carriers: Tool Craft (military contracted) Confirmed by PSA (http://www.ar15.com/archive/topic.ht...f=301&t=193464) Toolcraft, Inc.

Lower parts kits: L.W. Schneider (military contracted) schneider2
    See post 16: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/a.../t-566740.html
LPK info originally from here: M4Carbine.net Forums

Hammer forged 4150 1/7 barrels: FN (military contracted) (confirmed by PSA): http://www.fnmfg.com/capabilities/Gun%20Barrels/

Chrome moly 4150 1/7 barrels: Now also made by FN (stated on PSA's spec of the barrel/upper)

PSA's barrels definitely not DPMS confirmed by PSA post #16 lol http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=586274

Forged lowers: Forging? machined by Aero Precision Inc sorry no web site

Forged Uppers: Anchor Harvey Aluminum Forging/splintered A (used by Colt etc) more than likely machined by Aero Precision Forgings Since 1923 | ISO Certified 9001:2000 | Aluminum 6061 2014 7075

P-Tac: uppers, LPKs, BCGs, parts kit (Practical Tactical) not affiliated with PSA, but PSA is the only direct vendor of their parts.

PSA Fredom: uppers (PSA lower end/budget parts) No specs at this time

***New update as of June 05 2016 PSA is making all their own barrels for their kits/rifles except for their CHF which is still made by FN***

PTAC marked stuff might be lower quality.

Yep plus 1 for a good polishing

Ok that sums it up, well sort of as the man said.

I asked because I bought one of their 308 uppers. 18'' stainless,

Turns out their uppers (in 308) only fit their lowers, so I pulled the barrel and put it on a dpms upper/lower combo which obviously is not made by dpms because it has the Cerro keyhole on it. But the moral of the story is:

The damn thing shoots great. Still don't know who made the barrel but PSAs name is on it.. I'd buy another in a heartbeat

    I think you just did!

Hey, what ever happened to Jim, J427X?

He was a wizard with the ARs and the 1911s and politically incorrect enough to piss off all the right people.

    Kinda miss him

Most people i've disagreed with turned out to be my best friends. West Virginia thing I guess I'm pretty sure what rails issue is since i've only been doing this stuff since the early 80's. But it's entertaining and we are talking about guns.
    Dats what it's about afterall!
