    Postak **Report on Round 6 ** HELP Restore Rights to Concealed Weapons License Holders in F

    Senate Bill 234, introduced by Senator Greg Evers (R-2), was heard in the Senate Criminal Justice Committee yesterday. The provision to allow concealed weapons license holders to carry on college campuses was stripped out of the bill by committee members. The bill DID NOT receive a final vote and it will be back before the Senate Criminal Justice Committee next Monday, March 14 at 1:00 p.m. SB 234 now only makes two changes to the âRight-to-Carryâ law -- also known as the Concealed Weapons Licensing law. It also makes changes to firearms purchase law to conform to federal law.

    Then they better hire armed security too protect all these kids.
    They are young and just entering adulthood and parents have too sit home and worry about their safety.
    If I had a child in school and the kid got hurt by some nut case. After I took care of the nut case I would own the school.

    as a member of Florida concealed carry, we have been pushing for open carry and campus carry, this has blind sided us. many of our members are upset we had this bill with a gov who was willing to sign, we are fighting to keep this alive
