    Lightbulb MAGPUL D-60 5.56/.223 magazine

Finally got around to loading up the D-60 mag that came with my ammo order out of PSA.

MAN, that one at a time feed lever is pretty tight! I thought I was applying too much force on it to start with. But, you also have to keep from putting pressure on that spring loaded flipper at the top. They just snap right in if you take some care to do it correctly.

This is one that needs to be loaded up well prior to use. It definitely is not a quick loading system!

Well, that is 60 more rounds ready to work if need be.

    hee hee...

yeah i mentioned that in my review of the D60... but now that you've said it & people read multiples of us saying that its NOT a quick load or even easy to ratchet that lever.. they might believe it.

:-) thanks for spending my money Ralph!

And here I just like the 20's. Push the release and slap the hold open with the heel of my palm. Great practice on muscle memory.

Question tho. Is it reliable? Curious.

I figure this thing is reliable. But, I haven't run this one yet.

Might get the chance to use it soon though however?

It is a hard one to load them last ten rounds!

Use a shop rag to hold that crank lever with.

Smaller diameter body of that drum needs more torque on that little crank arm.

Really beafy spring in there to push all of those rounds well into the feed aperature.

i was afraid that as hard as that was getting to do on the last 10ish... that the lever might not take it.

    but it did.

NO i wouldnt want to load one of these in the field. but as a piss off a liberal toy? its fantastic & looks oh so sexy on that AK 5.56.

it also looks really good on that EXP Ar pistol with the can..

maybe i should grab you a pic of that? its a polymer lovers wet dream. ;-0
