    Default Semi-Auto Stoeger 12 Gauge M3500

    Semi-Auto Stoeger 12 Gauge M3500

Picked up this nice Benelli clone tonight. I wanted a wood stock Stoeger 2000 when they were about $300 but I put it off until too late. Then I bought a few of thee M3500 semi-auto (in camo) a Christmas gifts for my nephews to slay ducks. Then they cost about $400 and now they run about $600 each. Still, since Stoeger is Benelli/Beretta only made in Turkey, I decided now or never.

so this is a copy of a M3 benelli?

    same operating/rotating bolt head system?

just asking cause even without the shock absorbing stock set up if its the same operation but less than half the price? maybe i'll grab one of these. ( i LOVE my Benelli M2)

Benelli owns Stoeger. When Stoeger began making Berretta and Benelli clones (i.e. Cougar pistols) they didn't file law suits, instead they were impressed with their work and so Benelli-Berretta bought the company and shipped old equipment to Turkey and upgraded the operations there. My 9mm and .45 Cougars are just as nice a the Berettas and I have been watching them for quite a while. The Turks have been making decent firearms for a few years now (i.e. Canik, Escort, Storger, etc.).
