    Default $10.00 Pistons!

    USA gas pistons at TAPCO...
    On sale for $9.99!!!
Nice pistons, I like them better than the Arsenal USA pistons, because there is a flat ground into the shaft, with TAPCO USA embossed on it. Not laser etched, and has no chance to wear off. Excellent finish, sweet deal.

I have three of the early TAPCO standard pistons (2 groove) and they have the TAPCO USA somehow burned (etched) into the metal. The lettering was black but now after use the black is gone but the lettering is still there.

I like the way they did the new pistons with the relief cut. Oh, why did they change from the 2 groove to 3 groove? Was there a problem in functioning? I haven't had any problem with the ones I have.

I heard that the US pistons have three grooves to identify them as made in USA. I have the Arsenal piston, but it has no laser etching or any markings to identify it as US made, only the three grooves.

I got one of their early pistons and it is not marked at all. It looks to me that is is a century made piston.Still a nice piston but not as finished as the new ones with the relief cut on the side.
