    Yeah it looks nice, but the image is out of focus a little. If you want to do an AK you'd better do it soon. The kits are rapidly disappearing. With no metalworking experience at all I jumped into my first one, and it shoots fine. It doesn't look all that good, but the hard part's in the riveting, and you won't learn that unless you do an AK build.

    By the way I wonder what motivates one to buy a K98 these days of no surplus ammo? Don't get me wrong - I love the guns, but you can't shoot it much, can you?

    the ammo is still available. I bought 5 boxes of federal 8mm when I bought then gun, it was $27 for 20 rounds...... but it's still around
