Default Anyone with Virginia gun laws knowledge?

I've brought it up a couple of times. Several really. I get a "delay" time to the extent I carry the VSP phone number with me when I purchase a firearm. Get delayed? Make the call. Get the approval I should have gotten to start out with. What up? Was told one time it may be my name or SSN. Like a digit maybe. Any way to correct this with the state? Bought a pistol today. Was on the phone while I was being checked.

The funny was the M&P AR-22 or the stg look a like they had. First one has a molded in "stock"tube. Second one weighs more than my 308. But I was approved! I could get the rifle too because I was approved! Wait a second. For rifles considered assault weapons in Virginia I need three forms of identification. It's ok, you've been approved!

Seriously I only go into a gun shop with x dollars to spend. But it is odd isn't it? Have the adapter for the AR already but that stg was calling my name. But 5 bills? Don't need or want a wooden crate. Plus i've handled a real one before. It balanced better.
