Evil Walks,
Thanks, I'm really pysched about it. I had given up on getting one until I saw this. Too good to pass up.
Gunnysmith,
Very nice looking pair. How do they shoot? I read some reports that the Romak3/PSL shoots better than the Tiger.
The Romak likes the lighter bullets
The tigr likes them heavier.
Then they are about even
I read that the Tiger should not use bullets over 150grain. Does that sound familiar?Quote:

The Romak has a trigger and action very similar to the AK. I don't think it has the same restrictions as found on the Tiger, SVD, & NDM rifles.

Take a look at the link above. Notice how the bolt carrier does not have the attached gas piston. Instead it is pushed back by a thin rod. I believe that is the piece which can be damaged by using too high of a grain weight bullet.
This whole post reminds me of a running joke my buddies and I used to have:
"A fine rifle induces that feeling of ecstasy commonly known as a BORE-gasm."

thanks for the link. I am going to post the question in the weapons discution forum so I do not hijack this thread. :)
The gas tube is removed on the Romak.
The gas port and rod can be seen on the Tigr
