So who knows the story on this? I myself do not smoke the weed, but have worked with a few that do. They all looked forward to April 20th (4/20). On a lesser note they also commented when the clock struck 4:20 daily.

I've heard many stories about 4:20, from a major ganja drop in the 60's that took place at 4:20pm to police codes and others. I too would like to know the history behind those numbers being tied with smoking out...

I don't smoke it but here are a couple different explanations. I basically did a google search with marijuana 4 20 in the search block. These are a couple pages of about 985,000 on the topic. Looks like a code used by some highschoolers from 1971??? Hard to say, I've never heard the term until today reading this thread.

I've actually heard that Hitlers's B-day was the 19th. and he just celabrated it on the 20th for some reason?? Can't remember were I got that one from????
