Hey Romaniac.

An old trick. Go borrow a white crayon out of the neighbor kids crayola box.

Rub it over the markings on the rifle and wipe off the excess. It shows up real good then, and is easy to clean off with mineral spirits etc.

Nice Hungarian you have there BTW.

4thId Vet,

Enjoyed talking to you yesterday.

Now this joker called me up in a fake Chinese voice asking me for Peking Duck carry out! Hah! I had to freaking laugh!

I looked at the area code and knew who it was right away!

All sorts of markings.
I just realized there is the M 95 underneath "BUDAPEST". If you follow up towards the muzzle, over the chamber, there is an S stamped over some other writing. To the right of that there is a little mark. Have to find a big mag lens. I will try later with my wifes help to see if I can get some good pics of these.

White finger nail polish also guys to use in the indents for marking.. Just let it dry a bit and wipe over with a damp cloth..
Wait till the old lady is gone.. They kind of flip out when you use their polish on your weapon..

Romaniac, they (whoever they are) say the S mark was from when they updated them from the 95/30's.

I don't know for sure. I'm still learning about them.
