Has anyone build a ak47 with this reciever? I'm looking into the difficulties in building a rifle.

I have yet to see a finished product. I used mine to make a template. Seems to me some pics of an actual build would be cool. Jack

I just recently completed an AMD-65 on one of the bend and weld receivers. All in all I am happy with it. It is not pretty by any means, but if you look at it from about 4 feet away it looks beautiful. The corners are a little rough looking, but not terrible. This one turned out to be my "beater" AK. LOL

Question on the top of the reciever, how did you put the bends in? Or did you weld them in?
