Guys,
below is the response I just got from ACE support service:
Dear Sir,
Our blanks are normalized, and no heat treating is required. Most
builders have not treated the blanks, however those who did treated only
the fcg holes. We have yet to see or hear of any problems associated
with not heat treating the blanks - provided the fcg holes are tightly
fitted with the pivot pins. Let us know if you have any other questions.
