I have a kit for the AK-74 coming and I know it has a different size magwell and I remember seeing something pertaining to the different sizes but can't find any reference to it. Is there a drawing showing the different size magwell opening?

Can someone help me on this matter.

I have the K-VAR barrel stub w/forward part of receiver. I can get all the dimensions off it except the length (from mag catch to front trunnion.

I hope someone has the answer.

slightly narrower and slightly longer. I'm posting so I'll remember to take the measurements.

The standard '47 receiver works fine mag fit wise. It's just one of those anal things I'll 'fess up to when cutting the mag opening.
