If anyone is having a problem with the AMD's not feeding you might try grinding down the selector stop. I had a problem with several of my builds until I noticed that the selector stop seemed rather thick not allowing the mag to seat to the proper depth. Yes, I checked rails and every other thing I could think of and still no luck. This also occured with several makes of mags. I ground down the stop to aboout 1/2 its thickness and that solved the problem. Hope this saves some hours & headaches!! :headspin:

I had to do that to my PMKMS build.
I'm still not exactly sure why, but I think I may have laid the receiver out a little too far forward on the blank.
This was one of the early 12" blanks.

if this is working for you, then your receiver is outa spec. too much height to the upper rails.
biggest prob i am having lately is drag of bolt on the right mag lip. simpler to shave them flat than fix, but then the gun is mag sensitive, and the problem is not really solved.

Yes, I thought that too and tapped them down a bit. Couldn't go too far because of the lower rails. Feeds good now though.I am learning that with these builds you have to wing it one place or the other

Had to do the same thing with my '74 on a Hesse receiver.
