amd65 part question

Hello,
That is not a center support, it is the locking unlocking mechanism for your folding stock. Closely examine your folding stock and you will see where the beveled piece fits into the rear trunnion. The screw, spring and metal piece all go together. Put the metal piece in from the top of trunnion, insert spring, and then screw. It functions by pushing on the screw like a button.
