will a wooden forearm from a ak47/clones fit on a amd65? I haven't had any luck finding an original to replace my damaged one.

It should with a little fitting around the front retainer since it's a little different.

I've played around swapping my furniture between my Chinese, Romanian, and 2 AMD kits 63&65. Everything is the right size except the front retainer and it's off by just a little in size.

Here is an AMD-63 with a wooden grip and handuard. I had to replace the gastube and trim the wood to fit the front retainer on the foregrip.
