Got kicked off the island over at that other place because I refused to put up with :kick: Anybody else here have the same experience? GG

Ha! I wondered about that.
I think I came real, real close to getting banned.
I may be even closer now, cause somebody at AR-15.net copied my whole post where I took ol' BowHunt to task into to "gunsnet extortion attempt" thread.
I kind of figured you'd earned "Pariah" status.

Thanks guys, happy to be here. Hopefully I can have a positive impact on the growth of the site in general and the C&R forum in particular. Everybody tell a friend and lets grow this baby. :thumbup1: GG
Welcome aboard, I have been here since about day 2 but I kept my membership intact over there. Until yesterday. I got their e-mail too complete with all the whining and sniveling and I just could not take it anymore and I sent them a reply telling them just how I REALLY felt about their B.S. I summed it all up by letting them know that they were more than welcome to kiss my a$$ and guess what? Darned if they did not go and ban me.

He just doesn't get it.
gunco, AR15, Falfiles and Roderus all have extensive AK sections in their forums, the majority of the AK fans are members of most or all of these forums.
We all support each other and cross post URL's to certain threads that contain information being requested by a poster.
DimwiT likes to tell everyone that he has something to offer that these other forums do not, but every time He has one of his hissy fits, all succeeds in doing is driving members away.
Every time he gets his panties in a wad, the membership goes up at the other forums.
Last one out of goonsnet, don't forget to turn off the light.

Nope, didn't get kicked off.........I chose to leave. Never cared much about being slapped in the face. Plus this looks like the best site around for the gun community. I just want to talk guns and make freinds with people that have the same interests. I left a lot of good freinds over there but hope they will come on over here as well.

You know, after reflecting on the events leading up to me being banned, it is obvious that the site owner over there is a humorless, heavy handed, jack booted PUNK. I could understand it if I cursed, or threatened him. But to voice an opinion contrary to his and toss in a couple of barbs that evidently hit a soft spot, is not a reason for banning. The punk tossed out a backhanded slap to the members there by calling one member "one of the rare posters who are honest". To me, that is calling everyone else a liar. And anyone over there who takes that laying down deserves the moniker. Too bad there is a core of ass kissers over there who will take anything dished out by this cretin. Makes me want to puke. Eventually he will get what is surely deserved. GG

The AK side got worse around February. Let me tell you that you were sorely missed when you quit posting. I'm not a refugee, either. Haven't been banned, yet. Like you, I wanted to find something less abusive.
This could make a great discussion board. There are already many excellent members.

Custer, you have a bad temper? No way! I've read your posts for about a year now, and I've never seen it... but, then again, your razor wit and dry humor were always more than a match for any troll.
