These are kits that are avaliable.. their Hungarian PPSH-48's ..I got this in trade
for some AK parts that i had.. this one is dated 1952

NOTE: these kits cannot be made into live firing guns..as per ATF regulations.....
it is possable to convert one to a semi auto but that takes alot of work and machine
tools to do it..

I made mine into a dummy/display gun..welded up the barrel and chamber, welded the barrel to the trunion, welded the bolt closed ,,welded the upper and lower reciever together...

these kits as they come are missing the rear 1/3rd of the upper reciever,, to make a
display gun you must make a dummy reciever and weld it back on.. also the barrel shroud is cut and needs to be welded back on..

Anyone looking to build a display/dummy PPSH look here for more info

Great job on reattaching the front piece to the barrel jacket. Did you use a jig to keep it straight?

Just did it free hand.. if ya look real close it could have been a bit straighter.. but as a wall hanger that will be in a glass case you wont be able to see it..

more work will be done on it this winter.. smooth the welds down more and bondo over them.. will hide the welds where they are a bit uneven... just didnt have the time when i built it
