I ordered a Beretta 38 kit from an outfit in Texas....parcel comes, excitement builds!!!! I open it carefully...ahh, a greasy stock coming into view, good so far!! Oh I'm excited - better than Christmas, right! Carefully lay the box down...hmm - kinda packed a bit loose.....gently pour out a stock, bolt, barrel.......and nothing else!!!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGG......Gets me so upset I'm ordering 2 CZ M26 kits........bastards! So - if someone offers you some Beretta guts and a sling, oiler and mag, grab him for me!

It's not the senders' fault the package was stripped - I'm confident we can work together to obtain the missing parts....

How do you know someone at the shipping end didn't screw up and forget to put the parts in the box?

Was the box obviously tampered with?
Was the box damaged so the parts could have fallen out (poor packing)?

It took a bit of looking, but I found that a short flap on the end had been pried open - the largest piece they could have got out was the mag. The packing wes secure enough, I believe, but having a shipping document attached saying 'Beretta Kit' didn't help matters....

sorry, man. first off, the shipper should know that putting "beretta" anywhere visible on the box is stupid. justpaint ROB ME! in red. so you should be able to work things out. i always ask when i order to please keep all ref's to firearms off of the box
usually they understand. ive allso had to cancel some good monthly flyers/catalogs.because they have these huge photos of tanks & MACHINE GUN PARTS KITS AVAILABLE NOW! (you guys know what i meen) post 9-11 we have the govt telling everyone, mailmen etc... to report ANYTHING that looks suspicious. who needs that crap! anyway thank God my name isn't Mohammed Jihad Azzar.

anyway, sorry for the rant. you shouldnt have any problems getting your parts back. ill keep my fingers crossed. good luck.

We'll see - they did 'advertise' the contents, contrary to what I recommended - and they agreed to. 2 e-mails have been sent to them (I would like replacements for what is missing, and I'm willing to pay my fair share) but if I hear nothing in 2 days, I may put their name for all to see....

Scary....those guys are just a few miles from where I Live...I called them once and asked them if I could just walk in and buy something and they said no...it has to be ordered...

I am trying to work with Military Gun Supply in Texas to get a resolution to this problem - seems they are slow in responding to e-mails. They have offered a reduced price on replacement parts - fair enough! :thumbup1:
