How much has changed on the TV censorship? I was watching the comedy channel and they repeatedly beeped shit, but using Gods name in vain was completely OK. How did this happen? I've gone from seeing only black and white, to digital color HD, from Rob and Laura sleeping in separate beds, to sex on top of the sheets, from Clark Gable saying "Damn", sending the whole country into a spin, to Mary McCormick saying GD on the unpaid airways.
How can it be wrong to use a word that describes a bodily function or action, but OK to use Gods name in vain? I must have slept too long as this makes no sense.

I too, am at a loss to understand why it's OK to Curse, (Defaming Gods name) but common terms for excrement and bodily functions are not OK.
It's not like shit, or piss, have any other, darker, meanings.
They describe common functions and the results of doing them.

Not trying to sound racist, but I notice the changes started shortly after the intergration of America's public schools.
Perhaps that signaled to the Liberals they had the power to start changing America's moral standards.
We tried to provide movies to our kids that were morally acceptable. My wife finally said to give up, that the kids were going to hear all the bad stuff in school now, anyway.

I know I showed my age, but it just doesn't make an sense. Why have any censorship at all? The only reason there are "curse words" is the 10 commandments, and the words you aren't supposed to use are now ok, and the ones that "man" has determined "bad" (shit, piss, f--k) are still outlawed on public airways.

I tried to watch a comedy routine on Comedy Central. I had to change the channel because it was all bleeps, didn't make sense and I couldn't make out what half the jokes were about. It's worse on one of the XM radio stations (all bleeps to the point of being almost one solid bleep). I simply gave up.

For Communism and socialism to survive you have to kill the moral charter of the country. The old Communist Poland collapsed after going head to head with the X-pope and it rotted out shortly there after. People have to believe that tomorrow will be a better day, most believe in faith to get them through but some, just in greed for power motivates them as we see in our politics today. As our morals decline so will our standard of living and the way we treat each other. Swearing if you think about it is usually used to tear someone or thing down, not to build up an argument. - Sorry I got on a rant

The evil ones in power know that you cannot topple a Government like the one we have today unless you condition the masses over a gradual period of time. So they take God out of everything, put sex on TV, they put the image out there that swearing is ok. Now, I'm a United States Marine, so I know how to swear; but I also know its wrong. This country was founded on Christian Principles and understandings by our founding fathers. Do you think that if they were all atheists that we would have a Constitution that says we are born with rights that God has givens us, and that no man can change. I don't think so. The Commies and Libs out there know how to destroy what our Founding Fathers envisioned. They know first that they have to break up the family. Divorces are more common than ever now. Then they pushed the abortion issue in this country and now a country that was founded and believes that you have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; kills there unborn everyday. Don't you think that the man up stairs isn't taking score of all of our actions? Look at what our country has become. A culture of Death. Plain and simple. I really don't care who this messages offends either.
