Since most everybody I know are making the pistols from the cheap amd 65 kits, why not just cut the stock off flush with the rear of the trunion, weld all the openings closed and grind smooth and grind off the hinged part that protrudes from the right side rear of the receiver so it fits into your receiver without modifying it. I did one like this and you can not tell that it was ever a side folding trunion. It takes a little work, but it saves you some bucks. Just a suggestion.
