Been kicking around whether or not to post this since I found out last week, so here it goes.

Last week I found out my 2 year old girl might have cancer and we are awaiting further testing as well as surgery next Monday.

She had a mole on her ear lobe that was taken off twice as it kept growing back. The second time it came back so quick the doctor was alarmed and decided to send it to a very good pathology lab. The results were it's a malignant growth, but not quite cancer (?) I'm not sure exactly what that means, but the doctor is going in and will take a much larger portion of her ear lobe this time and reconstruct it.

My mother inlaw died of cancer the weekend my wife and I got engaged 8 years ago. We are well aware of cancer as it has affected most of the women in her family one way or another.

I already told the staff here last week as they have become good friends these past 8 months. Normally I wouldn't post this stuff as I feel like I'm asking for sympathy, but I'm not, I ask for prayers or good thoughts for my little girl and my wife.

I also ask the same for Max's family as they are still dealing with his brother's motorcycle accident from 2 weeks ago.

If you aren't the faithful type then just have a good thought or ignore.

Brother, as you know I lost a lung to cancer, I hate the sound of that word. I don't do a lot of praying, but you got it. God bless your daughter and family. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers. Give her a big hug for me. Keep us up-dated and if I can do anything just say the word. Roy

God forgive me I forgot to mention I lost my wife of 30 years to breast cancer, so I know the fear of the word. Just wait for the tests and keep positive. Again all my best to you and yours.

Sangrun, I'll be praying for your family and the families of our other members. Seems like we've all had some serious stress, injury, illness or tradegy lately. I don't know most of you on a real personal level, but I've come to feel as if we're in this together.

Thanks guys, for me it's in the Lord's hands now as is the election.

I'll tell you I usually have trouble letting go of things. This time all I can do is let the Lord take it as I have found out this is so scary and painful to think of that it's almost too much for me.

Be happy that they caught it early, and be happy that it was only on her ear. They can cut the whole damn thing off and grow her a new one on the back of a mouse these days.

Just so you guys know, I said a prayer for everyone on this board and all their families last night. Made me feel better, I even said a prayer for the owner of a certain site that we all know and his members.


Sometimes prayer is all I got.
