I have a plum bayo and five plum mags that all have black paint or dye over spray on them usually around the painted metal. Is there any way to remove the black without bead blasting or sanding. Has any one else noticed this on thier plum accessories?
Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.

I know that you could go to the paint section of just about any Lowes or Home Depot store (wal-mart as well) and pick up a liquid stripping chemical. They use it to strip the paint of cars, boats (marine stripper), and just about anything. I know for sure that these would take the paint off. Bascially you just use a paint brush and brush it on really thick. Then, let it sit for 5-10 min. or until the paint completely bubbles up. At this point, take some kind of straight edge and push the paint off. You can also use a bristle brush to get in the hard areas. Good Luck!
