Got a set of k var rails today, made a pattern that I could understand and cut the suckers out. Hit it with the mapp /oxy gas and it straightened right out. All told probably took 1/2 hour from start to finish. Will be faster now that I know what I am doing and thanks to all your tips. Got 2 feet of tubing & a 20 pack of cut off wheels so I guess I had better start looking for some more kits wnen I finish 2 65's & a 63 :headspin: :headspin: :headspin:

Sounds like you may be building lots of rails.

Does any other than me wear a dust mask when cutting with a cut off wheel. Jack

Yeah you should always have good ventilation or lung protection - the residue from the cut-off wheels is nasty stuff you don't want in your lungs!!!!
Yes Listen to hcpookie, I've seen to many good knife makers die in their 50's because all they wore is the little paper dust filters!
