I went to a fabricating shop to see it they had the 4130. They didn't but said to try 14ga regular steel tubing and heat treat it. I have been playing with the template and of course I cut the piece backwards. Am getting a set that I will use as a template and ordering some 4130. Also have a 20 pack of cutoff wheels and am having a blast practicing on the 14 ga. Would it be practicle to get say 1 1/2" tubing to eliminate banging out the bend? Thanks for the motavation!!!

Well since you spell your name correctly, I'll tell you that 1" works just fine. :) I've made 3 sets with 1" square tubing.

Well I got my tubing from the aircraft company, a 20 pack of cutoff wheels., a patern to go by so here goes nothing. Waiting for some 5 & 7mm drill bits for my 65 so why not? :headspin:
