Hey guys, I picked up one of the CETME C kits from Apex for $149 finally. I wanted to know if anyone had one of the fancy flat bending jigs I could rent? I've previously tried making my own, and using the steel dowel/screwdriver and pliers methods and have been horrendously unsuccessful. If not, my buddy and I are just gonna split the cost of a jig from like robertrtg or hkparts. Thanks in advance!

what's your location? shipping that thing gets expensive quickly. might be too cost prohibitive.

That's a good point, those aren't very light are they. Im in southern California.

i was hoping somewhere local.
if you split it with a friend it will probably won't be too-too bad. still a bunch cheaper than buying a new or used one - hunk of metal you will never use ever again.
give me a shout if you can't find anything local. i would think there gotta be a lot of builders in Cali, just because of all the state-restrictions and size of the state.

we've got them over at WG for free to members.... all you have to do is pay for the shipping.

we have several styles.

Mojohana style

press style

& non press screw jack style.

some of them are heavy.

I bought a jig from robertrtg. to build my Cetme C after building I plan on selling it to get my $$$ back.
The only problem is robertrtg. is out of flats now, is there some place that sells flats that work on the RTG jig?
