Are they decent? Can you tell any difference between these and the stock ones in performance? So why not change out these in all your mags and always be up two parts.

In future builds, I could count the blank and FCG and pretty much be there depending on the gun. We're only talking about $30 or so for compliance parts, if you swap out the followers. You would also always have to build your receiver too.

edit: or buy an american one

I do ot like them as counted compliance parts but thet is just my opinion. yes they would make the count easy. you would want enough to convert all your mags and that is what I am going to do. It seems to easy for "them" to remove your mag and then say your count is off a then it will be time to pay the big fines. my intent is to bring my count from 6 up to 8, that is all. also I love my drums so I need the six parts and the followers do not work here. just a bit of cheap extra insurance.

I was just thinking that very same thing you posted.... these are cheap enough to change all of them out, and not have to worry about 2 parts??? or just showing intent to comply, giving you 2 extras...either way, they're cheap enough:thumbup1:

What you say about ?them? is why I don?t count the parts. A buck a mag is cheap insurance for that day when it comes.

I don't know if I totally see it that way. So you've got a US compliance parts count that you have to maintain to keep a "gun" legal. Does this not also refer to the magazine that is in it too? Are the parts in the magazine exempt from being added to the total count? Could the ATF, pull your magazine out and say your count is too low? There has got to be some literature/letter from the ATF which explains this point better. Granted, if they can pull the mag out and say my count is too low, I won't be adding these in to my parts count. But, if they do count I will definitely be adding them to all of my magazines. Does anyone know a definitive answer on this?

A few things
First this turned out to be a good place to buy from , shipping was cheap and sent through the post office to save me cash.
second I bought a few bags of them and I am going to change out all of my mags. what the heck.
third I think we all have heard of "them" dropping guns in peoples cars and worse rite, so it is easy for me to see one of "them" throwing my mag away and then my count is off. they are going to have to work to toss a US piston, welded brake, reciever or even the FCG would be a bit of work. BUT any fool could take out the mag and "get rid of it" FAST. with this in mind I have NO intent of useing them as my first six counted parts. just my oppinion too. others can do what they like as the parts are on the list.
