Just got back from Sarco (to pick up a 1911 kit), empty handed. Nothing feels worse to me then leaving a gun store empty handed. He said that they are out of slides for kits. I just stood there with my dick in the breeze and a dumb look on my face. so I had 2 more options (1) driving to Numrich and paying $100 more for a kit-if they had em or(2) flying to brazil and shaking those bastards down for a slide. So the point is call first. And next is if anyone knows of a reliable source for 1911 parts kits, let us all know. Preferably for under $200.
damn, i wouldve had a new 1911 to shoot for this weekend- now i'm waiting for the man in brown to drop off my new grips and he's runnin late. :bawling:
