Had been wondering just who the "Coalition Forces" are. Found the into in two tables in this article:

http://www.heritage.org/Research/Europe/wm558.cfm

30 nations involved in Iraq, 35 in Afghanistan. Some of the numbers make the participation nominal indeed, though: 2 Latvians in Afghanistan?

Interesting that France comes in third, after Great Britain, in contribution of troops in Afghanistan. From the way we trash the French, you'd think they'd stayed home.

Intersting also that Italy is towards the top of each list. Hadn't known that.

I'd read somewhere that Chinese participation in the Afghan Coalition was comprised of a single policeman - but I don't see the Chinese represented at all.

Anyway, I found it interesting to peruse the two tables and see which nations are participating and just how many folks each has sent, hope others will as well.

No,No,No,No,No,No. We acted alone. I know we did becasue Dan Rather said so. We did it without UN approval and the rest of the world is against us. The mainstream media says so.

BTW: I am being sarcastic here.
