I tried to fit the Romak 3 trunion in the receiver I received from from Centerfire Systems. No matter how I try, the trunion wants to go in at this "cocked" angle. It looks like the contours of the trunion do not match those of the trunion.
Anyone else have this problem?

I know it is a stupid question but how do the rivet hohes line up?? and can you get then to line up at all??
The middle hole on the stop does not line up on either side. I will try to send pic tommorow, its late I am really frustrated with the damn thing.

Is the trunion supposed to be identical on both sides? Email the picture to Centerfire and see what they say. If the trunion is supposed to be symetrical it looks like you got a bad trunion if not the receiver is warped.

It realy looks as if you may be best off sending it back for a replacement. If you got it from C.F. they should take care of you. A short delay is better than many years of it beeing screwed up. I have C.F. romak from a kit and it is very nice no trouble.

I have seen this happen when I test fitted the trunions on my Arsenal receivers. The thicker metal cause the bowing and warping.

Could your receiver be one of the new thicker types? If so you may need to modify the trunion.
