[Polish Taipan]

Has anyone tried this? How hard would it be? Thinking for hunting purposes.

I have been thinking of trying the same thing. The shorter mag would definately come in handy for shooting off the bench and would be nicer for hunting. I was thinking of cutting the mag about an inch up from the bottom and then taking a section out of the middle and somehow epoxy the two pieces back together. If anyone has done this please let us know how they did it. Thanks

The 5 round KVAR 223 mags work just fine for 5.45... try to go over 5 rounds, and they won't feed.

Can you fit more than 5? If so thats a problem where hunting law is concerned.
