here is what I got. a new reciever with rails installed but the cross support is bent so I will have to remove or straighten it, also it is clear that the top edjes are slightly bowed outon the middel by the center support. also a small dent by the mag well. all of this I can fix with only some time and a new cross support at most. I will guess it will take about 2 to 4 hours to get just rite. The total cost to me with everything included is $32, DID I GET RIPPED???

guess I should have been more clear. I knew the cross rod was bent when I bought it. I did not know about the bent rails and such. this was the last one they had , and they told me they were out till I asked a few times if they had ANYTHING kicking around someware. a week later when I called the guy told me he found this one and that was IT. He told me the rod was bent and the price would be $25 pluss shipping to get rid of it. I agreed . to be honest for me cheaper is better, I would NEVER buy a $75 reciever I do not care what brand it was.

This begs the question....who sold it to you. I think I'd be real pissed, but for $32 I for a "complete" reciever I would have been suspicious.

I realy do not want to mention the dealer name but I will tell you it is a vulcan reciever. I think if I can get it riet in less than 4 hours I am prety happy. If it came to a fifty dollar reciever I would be with a kit and no reciever. i think i am just about done building ak's ,

As long as there nothing really wrong with it that you can?t fix just think of it as a scratch and dent sale item. You have to fix it up a bit but you saved some money and as long as its works in the end that all that really matters. :thumbup1:
