Not in my life time.
"He" being the President. Not the Secretary of State. Plus, 2/3 of the Senate must affirm else there is no treaty. The Constitution of the United States said:He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur
:nanabang::lol:Problem is, the other countries that gave up guns didn't have ********.
Excuse my french, but what a cunt. She's as bad (and ugly) as Janet Reno.Hillary Clinton signed the small arms treaty with the UN.
If I recall my civics properly, ambassadors don't sign treaties, although they are involved in arranging them. It would be the president who would sign a treaty. As much as they would like, a treaty which violates the Constitution would be illegal. Of course, it wouldn't be the first time they tried to wipe their butts with it... lock and load time.
This is Washington speak of testing the waters to see what public reaction will be. The one who really stepped in the dog shit was the head of ICE on immigration, this guy should be drug down Washington Ave, if there any Republicans with ball's in office,we need public hearings about selective enforcement of the LAW, if they want to ignore Arizona law just what other laws are they ready to ignore or skirt around. They took a oath to defend the Constitution and the law of the land, if not its time they resign!!!!!!!!Clinton could sign anything. As a statement, politically it might be good for her and the administration. But, it's only a statement.
"He" being the President. Not the Secretary of State. Plus, 2/3 of the Senate must affirm else there is no treaty.
Until that happens, it's all smoke and mirrors.
This couldn't be more incorrect. On Wednesday the Obama administration took its first major step in a plan to ban all firearms in the United States . The Obama administration intends to force gun control and a complete ban on all weapons for US citizens through the signing of international treaties with foreign nations. By signing international treaties on gun control, the Obama administration can use the US State Department to bypass the normal legislative process in Congress. Once the US Government signs these international treaties, all US citizens will be subject to those gun laws created by foreign governments.
