Does GLOCK sell factory seconds?

If they have finishing issues on their pistols do they sell them for cheap, like so many manufacturers of AR stuff, or do the ugly ones just disappear somewhere before going to the shelf?

More or less looking for a way to get a dimensionally correct [read: still reliable] 19 for cheap.

I'm not sure if this will help, but i bought my g22 for under $350 from gander mountain because it was used. There was little to no wear on it like someone had just stored it and it was almost never fired. Considering that a new g22 is close to $600 i thought it was a pretty good deal.
i would look for police trade in or military surplus glocks.

plenty of them to be had from around $320-$360 they will show some ware but should be rock solid. the lower prices will be the early frame most likely. i have been shooting the old style frame for decades on the glock 22 no problems so far.
I got my G22 from CDNN a few years ago, it was suppose to be factory refurbished but the barrel rifling was almost nonexistent, it shots ok but not a tight groping gun. It came with the factory box & cleaning kit along with the factory literature. It's prior owner was a police Dept.
Polygonal rifling is kind of funny looking and you won't see grooves or lands like normal rifling. Your barrel's probably fine.

I doubt it. Everything is probably computer controlled. If so, anything out of spec is probably destroyed.

I more of meant the ones that are dropped/scratched on the assembly line, or the finish is uneven or something like that.

Again, probably not. Computers now even control the "finish" on a product.

And if the finish is marred, I suspect that they probably send them in house to be stripped and refinished.

Seriously, I've never heard of a "factory second" Glock. Of course, I guess they could use them for demo guns, or training, or something else.

Have you done a web search?

If they exist, surely somebody has bragged about them somewhere on the web.
