hi viz has a great light pipe sight for the AR15 that fits A1 and 2 models.

I was wandering does the ar14 sight fit the AK? If not is there a way to get it to fit?

I would assume that the AK would have metric threads and the AR would be fractional, but I don't know this to be fact.

I'm pretty sure I've seen fiber optic front sights for the AK available from someone.
Let me hunt around a little

I would appreciate it. I tried one of the hi viz shoot gun sights on my S20 Wow.

I figured if the Ar sight was close to the AK I could rethread it to fit.

Why not sleeve an AK sight cross block and then tap it to fit the AR sight pin.

thanks, I was thinking about that but wanted to find out if it was a close enough fit to just rethread the ar sight for the metric ak. Or if there was a sight like this out there.

I believe the AR15 front sight thread is 8-36, don't know what the AK thread is.

just got this from another board. Quick and cheap fix.

ACE www.riflestocks.com makes a replacement front sight drum for the AK that is threaded to accept AR front sights.

Ace has a replacement front site drum that takes ar15 front site posts.
www.riflestocks.com go to the ak section. Its right above the clamp on site for the gas block.
