I have a friend that works in a shop that makes custom racecar and motorcycle parts. He gave me a copy of a catalog from ?Eastwood? ( http://www.eastwood.com/ ) they sell automotive tools and supplies. Lots of good tools that we may be able to incorporate into our hobby of gun building. What I wanted to ask is weather anyone has ever tried the spot welder or the Stitch welder guns they sell. I can remember seeing the stitch welder back about 1970 but never knew if they worked. The spot welder may work to weld rails but would most likely leave a rough finish that need?s to be welded over and grinding to give a good finish.
OK, you guys have a lot of combined experience here at gunco so I know someone has seen or used one or both of these guns, Thanks for any help or advice.
