I can only think of two:
"Sniper" with Tom Berenger and Billy Zane. I like this one because it shows some of the subtle things that snipers really do, like the scene where Berenger's character, Beckett, is shaving burrs off each bullet with a pocket knife. The movie is a little talky at times, but it does make you feel like you're there.
"Enemy at the Gates" with Jude Law and Ed Harris. Russian Sniper Vasily Zaitsev vs. German master sniper Major Koenig. This is the story of an actual one-on-one duel between a German and Russian sniper at Stalingrad in World War II. From what I've gathered, its mostly historically accurate except that the political komissar didn't willingly die to reveal the German sniper's position in real life. In the actual battle, the komissar mistakenly showed himself enough that the German sniper shot him, at which point Zaitsev saw the German's muzzle flash and immediately killed him.
By the way, although "Sniper" is a great movie, the sequel, "Sniper 2", most definitely is NOT. It is in fact laughable in spots. In one scene, Beckett handles what is obviously a Mosin-Nagant 91/30 and remarks: "Mauser seven-six-two. One of the best rifles the Germans produced." Get the plague first.
Those are the only three movies dedicated to snipers that I can think of. "Saving Private Ryan" has a major character that is a sniper, but he's not the main character.
Are there any other movies mostly about snipers or one sniper? I'm not going to count movies where the guy is an assassin like "The Jackal", since in movies like that the sniper is the bad guy. I'm looking for movies where the sniper is the good guy.
