Looks like a lot of people are getting the whole scaled down printout so i thought i'd make a nice little howto to print it the right size. Acrobat puts little margins on either side to prevent pieces getting cut off. The reason is because printers generally cant print all the way to the edge. On the Ace template there is nothing but whitespace there so its not a problem.

So first open the template in acrobat.

click file -> print

Go down to "Page Scaling" dropdown menu.

Change it from "Shrink larger pages" to "None"

Print!

You will notice a small portion of the rear is cut off, but that section of the template is not important.

I'm assuming you have acrobat 5? Since I dont have a copy of that i dont know what to tell you, other than check out all printing options for mentions of scaling and/or margins. does the print dialog have a little preview of the page? You'll notice in the screenshot it says 100%. Originally it showed 94% which is what it was being scaled to. Try and find what will change that. If its not obvious, just play around with it. im sure you'll figure it out!

You have to uncheck the "shrink oversize pages..."

I printed out about a dozen of these yesterday on the lazer printer. I measured them afterwards. 10.25" long and 1.25" wide on center section. Sweet!! :headspin:

Ooh I wish i had a laser printer to print these. My crappy inkjet smeard some of the lines, and made some of them extra think in spots :smile:
