I have search the forum but can't find what I am looking for.

So here is my question
When looking at the inside of the receiver and with the back of the rifle towards you, do they have the outward dimple on the right side for the hammer spring to rest on?

What outward dimple? The only dimples on the AK receiver I'm aware of are these:

1. Magwell dimples
2. Front edge of magwell opening
3. Safety selector dimple (right side)
4. Safety selector dimple (left side)
5. Axis pin hole stampings (X and Y)
6. Large radius dimple for trigger (AK-74)
7. Safety selector detent

The only dimples on the OOW receiver are for the magwell (sides and front edge). The selector detent may be there, but I can't recall.

That is just a raised area to help align the hammer itself- not the spring. It is needed because the imported receivers use a thin .035" or so right rail. OOW rail is .050 and no it does not have (or need) the raised area.

Ah... I see. That makes perfect sense.
Thanks so much for the answer!
