Well, I was doing a homicide trial today. One of the Deputy Sheriffs and the Police Officer that filed the charges were talking. The Deputy I knew likes AKs, so I passed him a slip of paper with our web site on it. I told him we are good group of guys that really likes AKs. Well the discussion got around (we were waiting for the jury to come back) low and behold, the police officer is an ak guy too. I told them this is the best site, I am really proud of us, and we may see them as new members. They would fit in well, really neat people...



Oh by the way, I won, not guilty for my client. Jack

Jack Congratulations on your victory. As far as law enforcement officers becoming involved with this forum, I am all for it. Most of the police officers around here in MI are pro gun, 2 amendment rights and feel just as we do, that our rights are slowly being taken away by unconstitional ways. It is not the ordinary gun owner that is abusing gun rights, only the criminals, and they will have guns even if our Government is successful in taking our's. Gun control makes no sense whatsoever unless you are a member of the group of people in this world that wants to enslave us all. ak'sr4me

Well said, I have found that youger officers are pro second amendment rights. I think it is always a good thing to share our interst, but most import, to try to get the most support for our Constitutional Rights (second amendment) as possible. Jack

Good going on recruiting some new forum members, esp some LE guys. Not too long ago a local PD officer and I got BS'ing at work (hospital) and I ended up showing him some pics of my mean green SAR1, he was really impressed and best of all didn't start looking at me like I was some nut job like a lot of people would.

I used to hangout and party with a ubunch of cops and firefighters. To a man! None of teh cops were anti-2A that I ever met. They all had many different guns and sometimes we would end up having guns all over the palce at a party or get together.

I lived in an apartment with 2 firefighters and we had 3 cops that lived across the street from the same area. We had a couple other cops that lived nearby too.

We had parties at our place and then all the sudden there would be guns laying out as service peice's were passed around and my AK's would be brought out of the closet.

Lucky for us most of us our lady friends were okay with all of the guns being cop girlfriends or firefighter/EMT's also.
