I posted this yesterday but it seems to be gone so here it is again.
I got my Romanian AKM kit yesterday. it was new , I mean WOW. the furnitureis amazing new. I got the kit to build my mini romak from but now I see it is just way to nice to part up. I kind of knew this would happen that is why I was looking for seperat parts in the beginning, but I went to a full kit because it is cheaper. now I just do not know what to do. to go forward as planned with the mini Romak prety much totaly custom or just build up this beautifull Romanian as is. man I just dont know.
here is a question If I were to build the romak mini I would want to sell off the furniture from the kit, what do you think it worth and is anyone intrested in buying it?? it is dark brown plastic with a dimpel finish on the stock. I mean NEW condition.

I think it's E. Gerrman furniture with those kits. I'm glad you got a good one buddy!!

the kit came from I.O. .. I think you are correct about the origin of the furniture.
the Mini Romak Idea may be dead. I can not part up a kit this nice it just dose not make sence to me. I should have tracked down parts instead, or got a lesser kit ..

You definitely want to check your headspace.........My first Ak build was an I/o with mismatched numbers, I had to drill oversize quite a bit on the barrel/barrelpin hole to get proper headspace....

hay pat this kit is done and it happened to space out great, I got 6 thousandths, I am very happy with that.

as for the missing post ,,, I dont know ,,, I made this thread some time ago, maby I made some kind of mistake when I put the first thread into the system. I do rember posting the very first day I got the kit but I have no idea what happened. It very well could be a mistake on my part. what can you expect I am usualy here well after midnight. either way NO BIG DEAL. I just posted again to tell evryone how nice it was. PS I sold the furniture set and was very hapy withn what I got for it.

see my threads on the mini romak , I think I made a coupel and I know their are some pics included. The gun is basicaly done I am wateing for the scope. then it will be ALL done and I shurly I will post pics.. thanks .
