Recently I was travelling and while visiting my parents, my dad said that he found something that belongs to me. Not knowing what to expect, I said ok and he told me to follow him. He pulls out an ammo can and said I think this is yours. I opened it and found some stuff that I had forgot I left at his house back in 93 or 94. Inside the ammo can is about 240 rounds of chinese steel core ammo, some yugo ammo (I think it is the stuff mitchell arms brought in, has a 79 headstamp - otherwise the boxes look like the stuff AIM was selling). Also there was some chinese lead core, E.G. plastic rounds (the ones that were sold in 10 round blister packs), a stripper clip guide, some sks stuff and a scope rail and mount from a norinco ak hunter. Needless to say I was happy to see this stuff (I couldn't remember exactly where I had left it, come to find out it was in a closet they hardly use). Finding gun stuff is always a good thing. Also found was a 10/22 mag that had been loaded for about 10 years (yes it worked and still works fine). Has anyone else found anything they had "misplaced"?

I hate trying to find stuff! The other night I dug around in all my stuff looking for the 75rd drum pouch I know I still own. Couldn't find it for crap!

I did find other stuff I had forgotten about though. Bayonets, extra stocks for SKS's and all kinds of scope rings. I need to get a chest of crate and put all of that misc stuff in one place.

I can never find stuff that I need. I remeber I had it and put it somewhere so I wouldn't lose it, and then it just vaporizes.

Yeah I'm still looking for a wide forearm for a H&K91 that I took off 20 years ago. I sold the gun to my Brother-in-law but kept the handguard. When I bought a Cetme a few years ago I tore the house up looking for that @#%$ handguard!

When I dumped all the 34 + matching 98k's I had and the 8 mismatch 98k's ( to include four SS 98's ) , I found to my amazement ( in a hallway closet) a couple years later a walnut stocked matching 90% dot 1943 I had totally forgot about.Which was way cool as it immeadiately got me a matching pre-WW1 unit marked gew98 in swap to some fella hot for anything nazi.
Have had a few similar experiances with pistols and accessories , bayonets etc etc. When you wind up stockpiling a wad of stuff over time it's bound to happen.

Yeah, somewhere I've got atleast 17 Fal mags that are hiding with a possible 20 more.
