I think its called professionalism, even in the recreational or hobby environment. Good to get a long with others. I go there time to time, alway like what those guys have to say, same with www.falfiles.com and their AKsite. Jack

I agree and enjoy both of those other forums too. I think that is the because of the type of good people that make up the hobby. The problem with "goonsnet" is a management problem. Even their ridicules "This is not Disneyland" warning in their signiture shows their sophmoric, confrontational style, which BTW, doesn't last for long in the real world among armed people as we tend to be more polite than the overall population!

LOL, I posted in that thread, before I saw that it was noticed here. They were they first forum site I found, back when I thought I wanted to get into AR's. I instead found AK's and like the guys say over there, I've been walking on the Dark Side ever since. Good group over all, and TONS of traffic.

I joined this board after buying a rifle from Scubadvr, he suggested I look it over. He had such good things to say. He was right, no nonsense, no flamers. I don't post much, but look in every day, suck up the knowlege that abounds, have a good laugh every now & then at the good natured stuff that goes on here. This board is more tuned to builders I think, but the overall result is great. I'm not a builder, I have someone else do all the work, then I have all the fun! Welcome D.B. Cooper, just curious, did the chute open?

PS: Jack, the SAR2 is doing well. He still wonders why you put him up for adoption. I told him you had emergency bunion surgery & had to pay in cash only for the operation. He's adjusting well, & with the green furniture & 4 power, a bad ass sucker!!
