I have one of those small drill presses. I love it!!! it is 100 times better than a drill in your hand. I also bought a vice for 9.99 , how can you go wrong.
no it is not a workhorse but for home use it is well worth it.

My milling machine is a HF 39 dollar drill press and a HF 30 dollar machinest vice. Works for AKs

Hope they are still in stock this weekend. I have been doing everything with a hand drill, and though it can be done, is a pain in the rear. Last week when they ran the sale on the press, they were out of stock and had to wait a week. He did give me a huge discount on the 12 ton press. $94.00 out the door!

No. But they will be running that sale again next month sometime. Thats what the manager at the store front told me. They are hot sellers.

I have that drill press, I got it last year when it was on special for around $40. Can't go wrong for that price and it's way better than a hand drill.
