Welcome Rob. This is a very good board full of knowledgable builders who can offer all the help you will need to build your own AK. But I must foreworn you. AK building is known to become addicting.They're just like Lays potato chips, you can't have just one. Don ak'sr4me

I'm in Bucks County, northwest of Philly.

As for the AK addiction, I (hope) I'm prepared for it. I've already been bitten by Mausers, Mosins, AR-15's, and FN-FALs. AK's were the logical next choice. :thumbup1:

I think you will enjoy this board, it has some of the best home builders of AKs that can be found, and you won't find any "big egos" or guys that ridicule you for what they consider a "newbie" or 'stupid" question.
