I had to use a set of needle nose pliars to hold the catch and spring at the same time. I pushed everthing in place under spring tension and my wife pushed the pin it. It takes two sets of hands this way. Another way would be to use a small diameter pin punch and use it as a temporary pin. Install the real pin while pushing in the catch to line it up. The real pin will push out the temporary pin (punch. I hope this makes sense, because it took me a heck of a long time to figure it out and get mine in.
