So I've never built a milled kit and I'm looking for a milled receiver for A Hungarian type 3. I dont know who sells them and I need some recomendations.

Thank you Curt. :) I have a Chinese barrel waiting for a home. I swore I was not going to build another AK. Just Mall Ninja ARs.
Now this. Oh no. :geezer: :)
With CNC Warrior producing milled receivers, it seems that the hot ticket build these days are milled AKs. I've got two milled Bulgy 47 kits with new Bulgy barrels and a milled Russian AK47 U/F PLO kit, all matching, excellent condition with excellent original screw in barrel (bought from the great man from Minnesota a few years ago) that need milled receivers to complete. I've been waiting for this day of reasonably priced milled receivers.
I've seen the receivers in person, They look good. I might have to build one or two if I can find some reasonable parts.
I did the Bulgy milled U/F kit from Apex ($109) then went for the K-Var classic AK-47 barrel ($199 before forum discount). The barrels were on the expensive side but complete milled U/F kit for about $300. Got plenty of nice furniture types in spares boxes to round out the build. I didn't think it was too bad a price considering.
They are doing AK74 Pattern 5.45 receivers now. I sure hope they do a milled PSL receiver, that could be the basis of a very interesting build...
I sure hope they do a milled PSL receiver,
That would be sweet, I'd take mine apart to do that. :D
Sweet thank you very much. The russian pattern would be the correct one I think?
So one question about the receivers... that open area in front of the mag well does CNC warrior send a plate that slides in to cover up the opening?
If you pay CNC Warrior to install a bullet guide in the receiver, you might as well pay them to install the cover. If not, I'm sure you can pay for a cover and they will ship one with the receiver.

K-Var also sells one but the shipping cost will make buying only this piece from them costly.

That piece should be with your parts kit. It should have a male notched edge and the receiver is grooved to accept it.
