I ain't got time to argue with you all today. Gotta go over to the Indiana/Ohio line and pick up a load of red oak. The easy part is watching the fork lift slide it into my truck. The hard part is when I get back to my shop.

If you're on interstate 70 then watch out cause I'll be coming thru there Thursday on my was to Kansas.............and I'm gonna be rolling. :smoke:

I'm back. Just unloaded and stacked 450 BF of red oak and 140 BF of yellow poplar. Man, I'm getting out of shape. I need to do this more often instead of banging on computer keys. I think I need to load my kayak up and head toward warm country or something. :D

Is it windy where you went? It is gusting about 50 or so around here.

What part of Ohio did you get to?

I gotta make a bunch of raised panel cabinet doors and dovetail drawer boxes for some other cabinet makers. Gotta raise some money to pay for some new toys. :D

Yep, and the rain coming down made me think I was in the middle of a monsoon!

I went to the Frank Miller Lumber Co, right on the Ohio/Indiana border at Union City.

Looks like it's probably about 50-75 miles NW of Cincinnatti.

I am moveing red oak by hand too. but I do not measure it in BF, and I bet mine will go back out a lot lighter than it came in.. HAHAHa
