I have a few dozen Romanian G kits that I bought over 10 years ago before the GWB barrell import ban so they have original barrels that can still be used and also have every single original part (Full Auto FCG, etc). The receiver is cut up of course so it can never be reassembled without a new and legal receiver that only accepts the semi-auto parts and some other parts are worthless because they would have to be discarded for US made parts for it to be legal.

I know I'm still allowed to legally sell all these parts in my state and I'm wondering what it is worth today? I remember a few years ago after some tragic events I was offered $500+ for them but I just want to get a guage on a fair price today.

I also got in on the inexpensive barreled Romy's back then. $100 ea was about what I paid. Nowadays the prices are on up there. I see them in the $400-$500 range.

They demand and get premium prices because they have the original bbls, much easier to build and they have none of the US bbl issues. As to what someone will pay, well I quit buying AK kits when the OEM bbl ones hit $200 so you can't go by me! During the panics many sold for more than complete rifles though...

Right now around $350.00. The price will continue to rise back towards the Sandy Hook high water mark of $500.00 , the closer we get to November elections.. That's when I unloaded my pile.
A few dozen?? Quoting the 'Yes" hit song.....''Oh what a lucky man... you are''!! Or was that Traffic??

Yep, though about 10 of them seem to have the front fore-grip modified in that the pistol part of it doesn't exist.

They are all in excellent condition and each kit even came with a magazine. I got them for around $80 mostly off of AIM Surplus.

Sounds like I'll wait a few months closer to election to sell when I can show him the price on auction sites of maybe $400+.

$350-$400 would probably move them out the door a lot quicker, $500 you might sit on it for a while but would probably sell eventually. Lots of kits out there right now.

ELO, electric light orchestra, Jeff Lynne's band, one of my favorite 70s rock bands. Summer breeze is Seals and Croft, or if you like covers, Type O negative does a great version. All by memory too, no google, but that's easy trivia

Wasn't it Centerfire that had the 79.95 rusty kits? I got lucky on those. Nary a speck of rust.
I bought a kit from CFS for that price way back when, no rust but lots of use (furniture was trashed). I built it on an Armory 1mm receiver with an AMD-65 stock, shot it for years, and then recently sold it for basically what a new AK goes for.

I got a few at that price from J&G; a little surface rust on a couple of them was all. It was said that the crates got soaked with salt water on the trip to the US. They cleaned up okay.
